Service Description
The Structured Foundations Board & Train program provides dogs with a calm, distraction-controlled training environment designed to accelerate learning and develop reliable behavior. Throughout the program, each dog participates in multiple focused training sessions each day, tailored to the dog's temperament, learning style, and goals. Training may include loose leash walking, foundational obedience, impulse control, crate training, confidence-building exercises, engagement work, calm behavior patterns, and exposure to everyday distractions appropriate to the dog's progress. Structured rest periods, enrichment activities, and supervised outdoor time help maintain emotional balance and support healthy, sustainable learning. The program is ideal for puppies beginning foundational training, dogs needing improved manners or leash skills, and dogs requiring concentrated work in a well-managed, low-distraction environment. Before enrollment, every dog completes an evaluation to ensure the program is a suitable fit, and owners receive a clear outline of the intended training goals. Communication remains an essential component throughout the process. Owners receive regular updates, progress videos, and guidance to help reinforce newly learned skills at home. Upon completion of the program, a comprehensive transfer session and written training plan ensure a smooth transition and continued success.
Cancellation Policy
BOOKING POLICIES Booking a Training Session or Program All sessions must be booked through the online scheduling system. Your appointment is not confirmed until payment has been submitted. For multi-week training programs, either full payment or a required deposit must be paid at the time of booking to reserve your spot. New Client Requirements All new clients must schedule an Initial Consultation and Assessment before enrolling in any training program unless otherwise stated. This allows me to evaluate your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals, and ensure the program is appropriate. Proof of age-appropriate vaccinations may be required. Location of Training Training sessions may take place in your home, in public settings, or virtually depending on the service selected. Travel outside the standard service area may require an additional travel fee. Arrival and Session Length Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the original time and will not be extended. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be marked as a no-show and the full session fee will apply. Payment Payment is required at the time of booking. Accepted forms of payment will be listed on the scheduling page. Sessions or programs will not be held without payment. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICIES 48-Hour Cancellation Policy Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the session time will be charged the full session fee. This policy applies to all services, including consultations, private training, and multi-week programs. No-Shows A no-show is defined as failing to attend your session without prior notice. No-shows will be charged the full session fee. Repeated no-shows may result in loss of booking privileges or dismissal from ongoing programs. Refund Policy Training programs, packages, and sessions are non-refundable once purchased. Unused sessions expire 90 days after purchase unless otherwise stated. Refunds are not issued for missed sessions, late arrivals, or cancellations that occur outside the policy window. Illness Policy (Human or Dog) If you, anyone in your household, or your dog is ill, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling. I will waive cancellation fees for contagious illness if notified before the scheduled session time.
